Terms of Service
Effective date: 6 April 2026 · Last updated: 21 June 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the UK Graphic Novel Deals website, free catalogue, D3-LZ tracking service and Discord delivery channels, collectively the Service, operated by Hyperlane Ventures Ltd, trading as UK Graphic Novel Deals and UKGNDeals.
By subscribing to or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
UK Graphic Novel Deals is a subscription-based tracking service for graphic novel collectors in the United Kingdom. The Service tracks graphic novel prices, availability and release-related changes across selected UK online retailers and delivers service updates to subscribers via Discord.
The Service is provided in three subscription tiers: Reader, Collector, and Completionist. Each tier offers different levels of retailer coverage, alert delivery methods, and personalisation features as described on our website and pricing page.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe to or use the Service. By subscribing, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
The Service is designed for UK-based collectors. While we do not restrict access by location, our price tracking covers UK retailers only, and all prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).
3. Subscriptions and Payment
3.1 Subscription Tiers
The Service is offered as a monthly subscription across three tiers. Features and pricing for each tier are as described on our website at the time of subscription. We reserve the right to modify tier features and pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
3.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Whop, which acts as the merchant of record for your subscription. Whop uses Stripe for payment processing. By subscribing, you also agree to Whop’s terms of service and Stripe’s terms.
We do not directly collect, process, or store your payment card details.
3.3 Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis. Where a free trial is offered at checkout, paid billing begins after the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless cancelled.
Whop does not currently support direct upgrades or downgrades between tiers. To change tier, you must cancel your current subscription and subscribe again to the tier you want.
3.4 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ written notice to existing subscribers (via email or Discord). Price changes will take effect at your next billing cycle following the notice period. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
4.1 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Whop customer portal. If you cancel during a free trial before paid billing begins, you will not continue onto the paid monthly plan. If you cancel after paid billing has started, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you will continue to have access to the Service until your current billing period expires.
4.2 Refunds
Because the Service delivers digital content and ongoing monitoring updates, refunds are generally not provided for partially used billing periods. If you experience a significant service disruption that prevents you from receiving the Service for a material portion of your billing period, you may contact us to discuss a pro-rata credit or refund at our discretion.
4.3 Effect of Cancellation
Upon cancellation or expiry of your paid access, your Discord role will be revoked automatically, and you will lose access to subscriber-only D3-LZ channels and personalised DM alerts. Your D3-LZ preferences will be retained for 30 days in case you choose to resubscribe. After 30 days, your preferences and associated data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Service Availability and Performance
5.1 Best-Effort Basis
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or immediate operation. Price and availability checks are performed on a scheduled basis, and there may be delays between a change appearing on a retailer’s website and a Discord update or alert being delivered.
5.2 Maintenance and Downtime
We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons. Where possible, we will provide advance notice of planned downtime via Discord. We are not liable for any losses arising from service interruptions, whether planned or unplanned.
5.3 Third-Party Dependencies
The Service depends on third-party platforms including Discord, Cloudflare, Google, Whop, Stripe, and the retailer websites we monitor. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or disruptions to these third-party services that may affect alert delivery, payment processing, or service availability.
5.4 Retailer Coverage
The retailers we monitor may change over time. We may add or remove retailers at our discretion. We will notify subscribers of significant changes to retailer coverage.
6. Price Accuracy and Deal Information
6.1 No Guarantee of Accuracy
Prices and product information displayed in our D3-LZ updates and alerts are sourced from third-party retailer websites through automated monitoring. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that prices, stock availability, discount percentages, or other product information are accurate, complete, or current at the time you view an update or visit a retailer’s website.
6.2 Prices May Change
Retailer prices can change at any time. A price shown in a D3-LZ update or alert may no longer be available by the time you visit the retailer’s website. We are not responsible for price changes, stock-outs, or discrepancies between our updates and actual retailer pricing.
6.3 Not Financial or Purchasing Advice
The Service provides information about graphic novel pricing. It does not constitute financial advice, purchasing recommendations, or endorsements of any retailer or product. All purchasing decisions are made at your own discretion and risk.
7. Affiliate Links and Commercial Relationships
7.1 Affiliate Disclosure
Some links in our website, D3-LZ updates, alerts and communications are affiliate links. This means we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships exist with some, but not necessarily all, of the retailers we monitor.
7.2 Editorial Independence
Affiliate relationships do not influence which deals we surface, how D3-LZ updates or alerts are prioritised, or which retailers appear in the Service. Our monitoring systems operate independently of our commercial relationships.
7.3 Retailer Transactions
When you click a retailer link and make a purchase, your transaction is between you and that retailer. We are not a party to that transaction and have no responsibility for the retailer’s products, pricing, delivery, returns, or customer service. Each retailer’s own terms and conditions apply to your purchase.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, website, D3-LZ update and alert content, brand names (UK Graphic Novel Deals, UKGNDeals, D3-LZ, My D3-LZ), logos, graphics, and design elements, is the intellectual property of Hyperlane Ventures Ltd. All rights are reserved.

10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Maximum Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in subscription fees during the six (6) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10.2 Exclusion of Certain Damages
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings.
- Losses arising from purchasing decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

10.3 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that updates or alerts will be delivered without delay or omission, that price information will be accurate or current, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hyperlane Ventures Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.
13. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, including features, retailer coverage, alert frequency, and tier structure. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable. If a modification materially reduces the value of your current subscription tier, you may cancel your subscription and request a pro-rata refund for the remainder of your billing period.
14. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify subscribers via email or Discord at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
15. Termination
15.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription through the Whop customer portal.
15.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or the Service, or fail to pay subscription fees. We may also terminate the Service entirely with 30 days’ notice to all subscribers.
15.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately (or at the end of your current billing period if you cancel voluntarily). Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 8 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 12 (Indemnification), and 16 (Governing Law).
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
17. Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first if you have a concern or complaint about the Service. Most issues can be resolved informally. If we are unable to resolve a dispute informally, either party may pursue the matter through the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to use the UK’s alternative dispute resolution procedures. Further information is available from Citizens Advice.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any tier-specific terms described on our website, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hyperlane Ventures Ltd regarding your use of the Service. They supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
